Thinking about Industrial Food Packaging & Packaging New Product

"It's the same old tissue, honey, it doesn't make a distinction, ok? It's still going to work the exact same way", my exasperated spouse hissed into my ear as I grabbed containers after containers of some 'designer' tissue. DESIGNER TISSUE! Hah, can you even hear me say that? I can't think I in fact wrote 'designer tissue'. So, yes, for a graphic designer and writer who understands everything about the sort of effort one puts into product packaging and branding items, I sure fell for it. All the hoopla. The shenanigans. The 'draw 'em in with great copy and fab color combo'. Hey, I am still a consumer, keep in mind that. I am entitled to fall for great packaging, I have a prevailing right to be human.

They are so pretty ... the packaging. I swear!

They have the 'nature lover' packaging, the 'fruity' product packaging, the 'lady on the go' product packaging, and then they have the 'kids' packaging. I got 4 of each design packages and made a run for the counter with them with my shrieking kids and exasperated hubby running after me in sluggish motion.

Well, in this case, I was running for checkout with boxes of tissue paper with elegant product packaging designs on them. I would find it humorous enough if I didn't like the product packaging designs so much. However I am dead severe. In truth, I enjoyed the packaging develops a lot, after consuming all the tissues in the boxes, I would eliminate the designs and put it into my 'needs to keep for reference' clear folder.
